I have owned many colanders in my life. Plastic, metal mesh, silicon. They were all pretty underwhelming and had their downsides. This colander checks all the boxes for me and is sturdy enough to last a lifetime. The included bowl makes it very easy to keep things soaking and then quickly strain them.

I love this set and use it almost everyday as I'm a cheesemaker. The only thing I wish was different is that the strainer completely nestles into the bowl. Thus, you can't use the two together to strain anything with out putting something on the bottom of the bowl to hold the strainer up higher.

This is sturdy & thick stainless steel quality! Love that it comes with a mixing bowl that fits perfectly on top of each other. After washing fruits & vegetables with the colander bowl, you can easily set it on top of the bowl & allow for excess water to drain & veggies/fruits to dry off before storing away.

I finally bought it! It is large and nice. My husband started to use it the next day it came. Very nice size and sturdy. We used it for lots of things in the kitchen. Little bit pricey but worth it.
